A WEDDING AND STAIRS, NOT THE BEST COMBINATION

A WEDDING AND STAIRS, NOT THE BEST COMBINATION
(some stories based on the video below)

Once upon a time, not far from here, a wedding took place in a small village. Love and happiness were flying in the air while bride and groom found a lovely place to celebrate their ceremony. Blind of love, the two didn't realise one important fact, until the wedding.

I was sitting, eating somo snacks to end boredom, when everyone turned around to see the bride. Then, with my mouth full of snacks, I looked excited how the time seemed to stop for a while when she was desdending the stairs. Unfortunatly, the magic was killed when the wedding dress, that the bride had bought with hope, caused her to fall down the stairs so resoundingly. As soon as this happened, some guys ran to help her. After comfirm that she was allright, everyone, unavoidably, started to laugh. At first, the bride didn't seem to be upset; but, a few seconds later, she ran away without warning.

The wedding was not as I expected. The bride ran away and I almost died when I chocked me with some snacks while I was laughing so hard (I'm wicked) Eventually, bride and groom got married a few days later without telling everyone. After all, they got their happy ending.

The two metres long tail nightmare

Everybody has dreamed at least once about his/her wedding. And who doesn't love going to these big events ( even if it's only for the cake :D ) ? Children usually wonder about  how terrific their wedding would be but , as we all know , children grow up and become sensible adults. But what would happen if a young woman still had those childish ambitions? Let me tell you a story that happened to a cousin of mine.

It all started a sunny Sunday in the state of Ohio , when my family and I went to my cousin's wedding expecting to have a really nice day only surrounded by our closest friends and relatives , since my cousin has never really been an outgoing person . Anyway, she's always been dreaming about her fabulous wedding and she's been always kind of a fool trying to get along with everybody despite how impossible it is. Still , I couldn't believe my eyes when we got to the later party and found out that half Ohio was also there!! Surely, she had prepared the best wedding ever to all those people(trying to impress them) and it was surely going to be the day of her dreams , when the unexpected occured. Eventually, musicians started playing Pachelbel's Canon in D and someone of all the strangers turned the lights off. Then , my cousin appeared at the very top of the stairs in her two metres long tail bride dress( can you imagine how gorgeous it was?) . The thing was that while she was walking down the stairs, suddenly , and to everybody's surprise , she fell from them! Next, some men helped her get up and so embarrassed as she was, she ended up running away from a non-sensitive and laughing crowd.

Luckily, it turned out to be just a scare since she wasn't hurt. Anyway, as soon as I got home I couldn't stop thinking that those details she didn't care about while she was planing everything to be perfect, were those that can actually mean the difference between a dream come true or a living nightmare,

Sadako and the thousand paper cranes

Sadako and the thousand paper cranes

Sadako and the thousand paper cranes is a real Japanese history which, over the years, it has become a legend which transmits a great spirit, courage and desire to live.

Sadako Sasaki was a girl who was born in Hiroshima, Japan, on January 7th, 1943 and she died on 25th October 1955,with just twelve years old.
When she was two years old, an atomic bomb was dropped by the U.S. Air Force on her city to end World War II. The radiation of this bomb caused the death about 140,000 people and one of them was Sadako, who fell ill with leukemia.
Sadako was a strong, active, athletic and energetic girl. She loved to run and her only dream was to form part of the track team at her school.
One day, they chose her to run in a championship of relay race in her school, and this way, to have the possibility of fulfilling his dream.
From this day, Sadako was not thinking about anything that to practise to win the championship and be able to become the best runner in her school.
It came the day of the Championship and when her turn came, she ran with all her might and, at the end, she felt bad. She has a great pain in the ribs and she felt dizzy.
Months passed and, during that time, she practiced to get into the school team. The dizziness were constant but she had the hope that, some day, they disappear and she kept it a secret.
A sad day in February, while Sadako was running around the playground, everything started to twirl and collapsed on the floor. After this, her family took her to the hospital and, after some testing, the doctors found that Sadako had leukemia and she had to stay admitted. Sadako was devastated.
The next morning, her best friend told her that she had found a way to heal her. She told her that doing, with her own hands, a thousand paper cranes, the gods would grant her a wish. Sadako, during the fourteen months that she was admitted, made 644 paper cranes until death did not allow her to do more.

At her death, her companions of class made her 356 cranes, which were those that she was lacking to come to thousand, and they buried them with her. Also, soon after his death, they did a book with all the letters that Sadako wrote to her friends and thanks to which Sadako's history was known throughout the world.
In addition, it made a monument to Sadako in 1958 where she’s holding a golden crane and in whose base, it was recorded her desire:

This is our cry.
This is our prayer.
Peace in the world.

The evolution of technology

THE EVOLUTION OF TECHNOLOGY

Technology is actually progressing at a lightened speed rhythm and that’s because we invert a good part of our money on it.
For centuries technology progress has been really slow because of different reasons: wars, diseases and the need of survival. Nevertheless some inventions created on ancient times are some of the most important, most useful and simple ones, such as the wheel, the sharp tools (axes, scrapers, needles…) and another ones. From them all other machines have been invented.

There are lots of different ambits of technology:

The war or belic technology is with the electronic technology the most worked on.
From spears, mazes, shields and bows passing to belic structures such as towers, siege towers, flamethrowers and castles many years have passed.

With the invention of gunpowder and the first shotguns the war tactics also changed, as a result the number of casualties in the war increased dramatically.

In the first half of XX century, with the world wars I and II, the development of arms industry reached an unprecedented increase. Firearms were really improved with the creation of the first precise automatic firearms, the tanks and the intercontinental rockets.

sub-machine gun ´´tompson´´ 1928

Domestic technology

Domestic technology has also improved because with its improvement industry earns lots of money and it is useful for customer because the domestic devices as computers, mobile phones, washing machines, ironing machines, vacuum cleaners, air conditioners …. made life easier.
Most of  this technology runs on electricity.

The revolution of the electronic was based in the microchip

Transport technology

The evolution of transports has also been very drastic over time. For centuries it was centred on animals that weren’t as quick as now but they’ve used really an ecological bio-energy fuel also called dead rests
About 3,500 BC the wheel was invented in what is now Iraq. At first wheels were made of solid pieces of wood linked together to form a circle but after 2,000 BC they were made with spokes. The invention of the wheel allow transporting greater amount of goods from distant places.
About 3,100 BC the Egyptians invented the sailing boat. They were made of bundles of papyrus reeds tied together. About 2,700 BC the Egyptians began using wooden ships for trade by sea. The boats were essential to increases the commercial transaction in the Mediterranean sea.
Romans built large merchant ships, steered by oars, which could carry up to 1,000 tons of cargo. The Romans also built lighthouses to aid shipping. They also built a road network.
The Chinese invented the compass that help in sailing
Although the first cars appeared at the end of the 19th century after the First World War they soon became cheaper and more common.

My trip to India...

My trip to India

I travelled to India two years ago, with my mother and with a group of person from many parts of Spain.
We went with an ONG called “OPEN EYES”. They have one objective; to help people, to show us how is life there, their culture, their religion…And to explain us that you don’t need anything to be happy.
The first day I was very excited and very nervous. That night I didn’t sleep but I did it on the plane. The trajectory lasted 17 hours!!!
I am going to introduce you my tourist guide
This is Ranjan, he doesn´t know speak Spanish at all. We had to speak in English. He is a fantastic person and really funny.
The first day we arrived to Delhi, the capital. It is so crowed. We visited the Jama Masjid’s mosque. It’s awesome.

The second day we went to Udaiphur on train, we passed the night there, it’s a great experience. We stayed in Quetub Minar. It’s considered a heritage.

The fourth and fifth day we stayed in Udaiphur that is considered Venice of the west because there are a lot of lakes inside the city. Many people say that Udaiphur is the most romantic city of India. I am agree with them.

The sixth day we moved to Chittorgarh and we contemplated an impressive monument.

The seventh day we arrived to an ONG. In this ONG are 56 children who don’t have family, but there they are a big family. This isn’t an orphanage; when you enter you feel a cozy home. Jaimala and Hitesh direct this ONG. All the children go to school, there are five teachers.  We slept with them. They are extraordinary people. I won’t ever forget them.

The eighth and ninth day we stayed in Agra. We went to “Fuerte Amber” and we rode on elephant. At first I was very scared but I loved this time.

The tenth day we moved to Varanasi, and we visited the Taj Mahal. In 1631 Mogol Shan Jahan built it in representation of his love to his wife. In fact it is very small, but it is really incredible monument.

The eleventh day we sailed in the river Ganges. Hindus when a person of their family dies, they throw their ashes for liberation of his soul.

People in the river pray, wash the clothes and have a shower.

The twelfth day we passed a night in the dessert. We rode on camel. It was very cold

The taxis in India are called “tuc tuc” and they go so fast.

The thirteenth day we came to Delhi and we toke the plain with destination to Barcelona.
It was an unforgettable experience, I advise you to go, to learn, and of course to enjoy.

Youtube: Broadcast Yourself

Youtube is a website where anyone from anywhere can share their videos with the world. Youtube was created by three Paypal employees in february 2005, and later owned by the company Google for $1.65 billion in 2006. To watch Youtube videos in your personal computer you need to have installed Adobe Flash Player on the browser. Adobe Flash Player is one of the most common softwares, so you wont have any problems installing it. But, what happens if you want to upload your own video? You can! anybody can upload its own video up to a 15 minutes duration. But, like everything, Youtube has rules. You cannot upload any sexual content. You cannot upload images or music with copyright on it neither. Now the question is: what can I do? In Youtube you can find almost any type of video, from tutorials to furniture crafting. When you have thought what you want to do, the next step is creating a Youtube channel. For this you only need a Google acount, like your ordinary Gmail account. Once you have uploaded your own video you will see three numbers rising. One is your Youtube subcribers, people who are following your channel. The second one is you video reproductions, people that have seen your video. And the third is the number of people that has liked or disliked your video. Put an eye on these numbers because when they raise enough, some companies may conctact you offering a partnership with them. A partnership is a engagement  that you have with a Youtube company that allows you to upload longer videos, evade some of the copyright punishments and earn money for allowing the company to put anvertising before your video.I personally think  this is wonderfull, you can do what you like and also have some payment for doing it. I encuorage everyone to give this practice a chance.

League of Legends (LoL)

League of Legends is in my opinion the best game at the moment.

What is League of Legends?

League of legends is a multiplayer online battle arena (M.O.B.A.) video game daveloped by Riot Games, inspired of Defense of the Ancients (DOTA). League of Legends is a free-to-play.The game was first announced on October 7, 2008, and released on October 27, 2009. Now there are 27 million of gamers per day that play League of Legends. There are 118 champions and you can play with all of them.

How to play?

There are a lot of games modes:

Classic

  •  5vs5 summoner's rift
  1. Normal Team Builder (Beta)
  2. Normal Draft Pick
  3. Normal Blind Pick
  4. Ranked Solo/Duo Draft Pick
  5. Ranked Teams Draft Pick

  • 3vs3 Twisted Treeline
  1. Normal Blind Pick
  2. Ranked Teams Draft Pick
Dominion
  • 5vs5 The Crystal Scar
  1. Normal Blind Pick
  2. Normal Draft pick

  • 5vs5 Howling Abyss

  1. Normal All Random

There are three lanes (Top,middle and bottom), in each lane there are 3 torrets and 1 inhibitor, behind the inhibitors there are 2 torrets that protect the nexus, each team must destroy the enemy nexus for win.

League of Legends is funny and interesting.

A gift for my mother

           A HISTORY CREATED BY MY

Las wensday was the birthday of my mother and i thought that i must buy something for she. Then, my father and I think prepare a trip. But where? The following day, we were looking different places but all with different  characteristics (mountain, cold, heat, beach...) The cities that we liked were Switzerland, for skiing, Florida, for its beaches and Roma for visit the Vatican. Everywhere she would like, so we look at the prices. The most expensive would be Florida because is farther and between Rome and Switzerland, the different was small. In this moment, we chose Rome because she is very religious. When we were going to order the trip, I remembered that one year ago she told me that she would love to ski and see the alpes. Finally, we chose Switzerland and mi mother will make her dream.
