CALLE13
Calle13 is a band of rap rock and rap coalition of Puerto Rico, composed by the stepbrothers René Pérez and Eduardo José, since the mother of the first got married with the father of the second although them later the siblings got divorced they maintained its good relationship. René alias Resident and Eduardo alias visitor threw her first video in 2005. Their first called album Calle13, had a great success at local level ending up being sixth in Top Latin.

The band is known for its eclectic musical style that mixes varied, such as rap , rock , ska , merengue, bossa nova , Balkan music , Latin American folklore , Colombian cumbia, cumbia slum , candombe , salsa, afrobeat , electronic styles , including others, often using unconventional instruments . At first the band scored a group of reggaeton , but soon distance themselves from this style. The band is also known for its satirical lyrics and a social commentary on topics of Latin American politics and culture today.
