THE MEDITERRANEAN DIET
The Mediterranean diet is made up of the countries of the Mediterranean area, as: Italy, France, Spain. The Mediterranean diet is a healthy die because the most of the foods are vegetables origin. The preparation of these meals is very elaborated.
The fundamental characteristic of the Mediterranean diet is the opposite to fast food. The ingredients of this diet is mayority such as cereals, vegetables and fruits.
The other fundamental characteristic:
- The food energies are sufficient for us.
- Vegetables, legumes, fishs and cheeses very common.
- The use of aromatic herbs and spices.
- A variety of cooking techniques.
Each country and city has its tradicional dishes very delicious.In Murcia is typical:"Michirones", "Paparajotes", "Cocido de pelotas"... And in Spain: "Jamón","Paella","Totilla española".

ResponderEliminarMy favourite food in the mediterranean diet is "el jamón", but there are other food very delicious. I couldn´t say,because I haven´t eaten many different types of food. And you..? Do you like the Mediterranean diet?
